Richard D. Ruttenberg Continuing to be thrilled! These compositions by Norman are beyond brilliant & one finds these artistic, colorful 'paintings' framed with the most beautifully complex designs. The expressive musicianship throughout the ranks of Norm's band is most impressive. These tracks are a gold mine for the ears and imagination. Favorite track? Impossible to choose.

about

Music from two past concerts: (1) tracks from the great concert at Ursinus College in 2001 which featured an incredible line-up of players; and (2) the full performance of The Frame of Forever, the poetry project from 2011, a 26-minute adventure in words and music. Also included on the album is an adventurous three-part suite I composed early in 2020 to round out the program on this release.

All music composed by Norman David (BMI).
