Richard D. Ruttenberg I LOVE these recordings. Yeh that's right! I LOVE these recordings. What a band! What a collection of beautifully written and played compositions. Tasteful, always refined, and explosive too. I dig these cats. What more can one say? Norman has magic in his mind and conveys it to the band and ultimately to the listener! Lucky me. Lucky YOU if you are astute, have good ears, and are smart enough to purchase the entire Norman David discography! Favorite Track? You tell me. I'm just blown away.

about

The first album release of my long-time ensemble, The Eleventet. The ensemble was loaded with some world-renowned superstars, as well as several of the brilliant musicians who have played in or are in the current Philadelphia ensemble. In any case, all of these fabulous musicians had already played at least a few previous gigs with The Eleventet in Philadelphia and other places. The performance is stunning on this album and it was a monstrous showcase for the band as I looked ahead to ongoing appearances in Philly and elsewhere.
